Rapid Typing is a software for kids like any age up to 2 or older. This improve my typing skills. From 48 wpm - 124 wpm! And I really like the games,too.

I have used Rapid Typing on and off for nearly 8-9 years now.
The reason why it took me this long to finish these lessons is because of errors I made when touch typing meaning that I had to repeat the lesson. Another reason it took this long is that at the time I have been busy with studies, work and other priorities. I am glad to have finally finish using rapid typing as of today.
It was over a year ago that I thought I might try and use touch typing in my work and everyday activities when using the computer or laptop, because I wanted to try and get in to the habit of touch typing a lot so that way I can become accustomed to it. In the early days, I only touched type when practicing with rapid typing; while my usual typing mostly consisted of hunt and peck. Rapid typing has helped increase my typing speed from 30 wpm hunt and peck to over 40 wpm when touch typing. I am still to this day practicing my touch typing and my goal is to try and get over 50 wpm.
My only concern with this program is that it took a long time for me to complete quite a lot of sessions and i felt that it didn't really teach me a lot on using numbers and symbols on the main keyboard.
Out of 5 stars I will rate this program a 4.5 out of 5.
I would recommend the program for someone that is a generic typer who is wanting to learn how to touch type (So someone that is only just going to type out sentences). I also recommend that when using rapid typing try and incorporate touch typing into your everyday life when using the keyboard and also practice using a touch typing test online.

Rapid Typing is housed in a simple but beautiful interface and it is easy to use, you only have to press the letters shown on screen. Of course if you do not look at the keyboard you will learn more and faster. Furthermore if you are not used not to look at it you can show a keyboard on screen, so you can get used to look at the screen instead of at the keyboard.
